Voted a “must-run marathon” by Runner’s World magazine, this race is packed with spectator support. It’s also a Boston-qualifying USATF sanctioned event. The race begins with 168 seconds of silence to honor those killed in the 1995 bombing.

Experience a course that winds through downtown, Bricktown, past the Oklahoma State Capitol, through northeastern Oklahoma City and around beautiful parks, churches and neighborhoods. You’ll also pass 168 banners that remind you of Why We Run.
Join a Team!
Quarter Marathon
Starting at the Memorial, participants will run 6.55 miles (10.55km). Run individually or as a four-member team. Start Together, Run Together and Finish Together!
Run, Jog, or Walk
5K
Whether you choose to run or walk, this 3.1-mile race is a great way to get involved in the Memorial Marathon without tackling the longer distances. Each participant receives a medal as well as one free admission to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.
Fun for the Entire Family
Kids Marathon
Kids from 6th grade and below are encouraged to join in this event that helps to teach a healthy lifestyle. Children run 25 miles from now until race day. Then on race day, participants complete their Marathon by running or walking the last 1.2 miles in person.
Keep Active, and Celebrate Life!
Senior Marathon
Individuals 65+, grab your friends and walk or run 25 miles (about 1.5 miles weekly) between January and Race Day. Then, meet us at the Start Line to complete your last 1.2 miles. Enjoy the cheers from your friends and supporters as you become an official Marathoner!
