The Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles, 10.54km) will be held on Sunday with the Marathon and Half Marathon. This gives individuals the opportunity to run in the 5K on Saturday and the Quarter Marathon on Sunday as part of a Why We Run bundle and earn extra swag!
With this race addition, we will be retiring the Relay. In the Quarter Marathon you can run as an individual, or compete as a team and Start Together, Run Together and Finish Together!
A team of four can combine their miles to total a Marathon! As part of a new Governor’s Team Marathon Challenge, if your team’s overall time beats Governor Stitt’s team, you will receive an “I Beat the Gov” shirt that will be mailed after Race Day.
