Kids and Senior Marathons Rescheduled!

We are excited to welcome you to participate in our Senior or Kids Marathons this Thursday, May 1st, in Lower Scissortail Park. Please plan to arrive early to find parking. You MUST wear your bib, please pin it to your shirt so it is easily visible so MarathonFoto can get your pic.

 

SENIOR MARATHON – Thursday, May 1st, 3:00pm

News 9’s Robin Marsh will be our race announcer! When you finish, you’ll be greeted by Police and Fire heroes. You’ll see OKC Fire’s Engine 1, the same firetruck that responded on April 19, 1995. Grab some Boom Town Marathon Magic ice cream and enjoy the festivities.

 

KIDS MARATHON – Thursday, May 1st, 4:00pm

News 9’s Robin Marsh will be our race announcer and Chairbison Rumble will bring the fun! When you finish, you’ll be greeted by Police and Fire heroes. You’ll see OKC Fire’s Engine 1, the same firetruck that responded on April 19, 1995. Grab some Boom Town Marathon Magic ice cream and enjoy the festivities.

Each participating student may be accompanied by one guardian on the course for support and encouragement. However, only those with an official race bib will be eligible to receive a medal and giveaways. Individuals will line up first in the Orange Color Wave. School groups will begin their portion of the course shortly after the first wave. 

The Start Line will be just west of Robinson on the trail that lines up with 14th street.

If you prefer to run on your own or are unable to make it Thursday we will be sending out a date soon of when you can pick up your medal. If you are further than 45 miles away, use this form and we will ship your medal to you.
