First U.S. Race for Champion Runners

We are very excited to announce runners Maria Lorena Ramirez, her brother Mario Ramirez Hernandez and their family from the Raramuri community in Chihuahua, Mexico have chosen the Memorial Marathon as their first U.S. race. These runners are known for running in their native dress, including sandals made from tire rubber.

This was their first visit to the Memorial and Museum as they learned why we #RUNtoREMEMBER.
