The Half Marathon is a great challenge and a distance many can walk, run or walk/run with 8-12 weeks preparation. Participate in the Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon and experience what it's like to be a part of one of the true "destination" running events in the country. Whether you're a veteran runner, it's your first race of this distance, or a stepping stone toward the Marathon, it's sure to be the most unforgettable 13.1 miles of your life!

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a USATF sanctioned event on a certified (OK-08020-DG) 13.1 mile single loop course.

Parking

Age Limit
Entrants must be 12 years of age or older on race day to register for the Half Marathon. Parents should exercise caution when allowing younger teens to run this distance.

Start Line
The start line is located at 5th and Harvey Ave.

Finish Line
The finish line is located on Broadway between NW 7th Street and NW 8th Street

Traffic Control
Streets are closed for 6.5 hours. Later finishers will be supported.

Early Start
There is NO early start for the Half Marathon. IF you are a Half Marathon participant and you start with the early start you WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Pace Groups
Pace groups will be provided for the following half-marathon target finish times: 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30. For more information, contact Red Coyote at info@redcoyoterunning.com.We are using the Chronotrack timing system to ensure that everyone receives an accurate time.  Per USATF Rule 245.1, Open Men's and Women's and Master Men's and Women's top three awards in the Marathon and the Half Marathon will be based on gun time (the order in which the athletes cross the finish line).  Age group and Relay awards will be based on timing system time (the actual time elapsed between an athlete reaching the starting line and finish line).  Digital clocks will be located at each mile and at the 5K splits to indicate the unofficial running time.  The digital clocks at the finish line display your unofficial time.  Official time is determined by the Chronotrack timing system.
Walkers are welcome in the Half Marathon!

Goodies
All Half Marathon participants receive a goody bag, t-shirt, poster, and heartland hospitality both on and off the course (food, beverage and availability of medical care and massage to aid your recovery). Half Marathon finishers receive a custom finisher's medal.
