Can I pick up my packet on race day?
Packet pickup will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 and Saturday, April 24, 2010 at The Health and Fitness Expo.

There is no race day packet pickup.

What should I do if I can't get to the Expo to pickup my packet before 6:00 pm on Saturday?
While the expo closes at 6:00 pm packet pickup will move to The Sheraton our Host Hotel.  Marathon volunteers will have remaining packets in the lobby until 9:00 pm.  You will only be able to pickup your entry packet and timing chip after 6:00 pm. You will not receive an entry shirt if you pickup your packet after 6:00 pm.

There is no race day packet pickup.

I am injured. Can I get a refund?
We are sorry but we do not give refunds. Participants unable to participate may pick up their runner packet and turn in their timing chip, or they may have someone else pick up their packet for them. Their representative must show a copy of the participant's photo ID and a note authorizing the representative to pick up the packet, in order to claim the packet and premiums.  Injured registrants also have the option of deferring their registration to the next year’s race.

What do we do if one of our relay team members can not participate?
Relay teams may make substitutions to their team. Have the substitute fill out an entry form with a note as to whom they are replacing on which team, and bring to the Expo when you pick up your team packet.

Will sports drink be available at the Water Stops?

Yes, PowerAde and Dasani water will be available at all Water Stops.  In past years, the PowerAde flavor has been lemon-lime.

Will Energy Gel be provided on the course?
Yes, GU will be provided.

What food is available at the Finish Line?

Carl’s Jr. provides fresh-made cheeseburgers to all finishers.  In addition, fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt, juice, water and milk are available.

Are strollers allowed in the races?
Strollers are only allowed in the 5K and they must start in the back of the race.

How many runners will participate in the 10th Annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon?

We are preparing for 24,000 total participants. About 3,000 of those will run the full marathon.

How hard is the course?

The difficulty of a race course is a very subjective thing, however, most people rate our course as moderate to fast. There is only 140 feet of total elevation difference over the entire run, but you get to move through that difference several times! The determining factor on how hard this course is becomes the wind. If the wind is low the course is fast. If the wind is high the course is much harder.

Training shirts, do I get this with my entry?

The official 2010 Memorial Marathon training shirts are dry-release running shirts with a unique graphic for the 10th Annual Memorial Marathon. These shirts are available for purchase when you register, or at the expo. This is NOT the race shirt you receive as part of your entry. Short sleeve are $15 and long sleeve are $20 and both include shipping.

Can I run in honor or memory of someone?
Yes you can! The Oklahoma City National Memorial will operate a booth at the expo where you can select someone to run in memory of and have their name written on a special bib to wear during the race.
